Mit 587 Treffern (1. Bundesliga: 286, 2. Bundesliga: 301) fielen fast ein Drittel aller Bundesliga-Tore (31,2 %) nach ruhenden Bällen. 164-mal war ein Standardtor das erste Tor des Spiels – der viel zitierte Dosenöffner. 242 Standardtore brachten die Führung, 128 Treffer bedeuteten den Ausgleich und in 147 Fällen war ein Tor nach ruhendem Ball sogar der entscheidende Siegtreffer.
